Witness is a greengrocer, selling vegetables; she wanted to get a loan in order to expand her vegetable stall.

During the training she spoke to the other women and came up with the idea to rent the store opposite of her vegetable stall, so she could start selling groceries there. Thus, she is able to supplement her income in case of bad months for the vegetable sales. She stays at her vegetable and fruit stall, which she has also expanded, in order to keep an eye on her store. Her revenue has increased tremendously, and her profit has grown from $15 per week to $40-$50 per week. Her plan is to expand even further and also start selling fruit juice.
