Saumu has a restaurant just off the main road, where she mainly serves truck drivers.

Her day starts early at 5am. In the morning, she sells chapatis (a type of pancake) and tea. For lunch, she sells rice. The loan enables her to purchase larger quantities of rice from the wholesaler, allowing her to make a higher profit.

She has also started hiring people. She wants to use her profit to expand her restaurant further, and to buy a fridge.
